mdehnersI got to experience one of my Pet Peeves this AM. I was down waiting for my Blood draw and saw a Het woman from the last aids support group I'd been to. All I did was wave and say "Hi!". She turned away from me.
Now this happens enough that it BECAME a Pet Peeve of mibne. No matter where I've lived, West-east-Gulf, Big City-Small Town it's the same. Gays who see others from aids support groups aknowlege the others when outside....most Hets DO NOT. It's hard for me to grasp Intellectually; that waving back to a Middle-Aged White Guy will somehow shout to the world you're a Modern Leper....but they do. It makes me Wish to go back and take back the Emotional support I gave this _______......
