mdehnersI'm TIRED. It's not like I'm one of those dewy-eyed Smurfs but still even this Cynic can be surprised at how folks can go.
Spineless Barack continues to throw Gays and Lesbians "under the bus" with DADT. AS the butt-wipe Gibbs puts it, "Waht's the rush?" Well fukwadd, good folks that our country needs for what IS NOW Obama's Wars are being not only thrown out of their jobs, they are being emotionally traumatized because the country THEY ARE WILLING TO DIE FOR is the one doing it...not some foreign enemy. Non-vets or non members of military families will never "get" what having your gov't turn on you will do to your world-view(ask wounded vets,). Telling us to shut up and go back to the back of the bus is not helpful and depending on our "fear" of Republican Hatefulness to get our votes only goes so far. After all, I've got a terminal disease and no kids. If I'm dead, what do I care?
Republicans are Afraid of thier Base. Dems? They Resent and Disrespect THEIRS.Obama's given more Interviews to Faux than to ANY Progressive group. 'Nuff Said. Let's put it this way. in my Life I've had Experiences that have formed a view about Het Black Men, esp around Homosexuals to be wary of them. Obama's just re-enforcibng that Negative view. I really appreciated Rachael Maddow's bit on 3 American Heroes being thrown under the bus(one, already and one Monkey-boy actaully Promised to help...SOP ).
On a sadly humerous note, I was in some discussions with the more nerdly than meself over Google/Verison's no Net Neutrality. Funny thing. Not ONE had switched search engines. That's right. They'll bitch about Google's Behavior but switch?!?! That requires less than a handful of keys to push.....
