mdehnersNOT looking forward to next week. MD appt. The reason is oddly the aids meds....too effective, for the recently Infected. Since most of us Oldies are dead, the newbies are what the Docs base their advice on.....and it's really annoying.
Someone who never developed symptoms may never do so if caught early enough. So here I come in, someone who had almost two decades of damage before the meds came up and get told to do "dis, dat ntodder" like someone who only differs from an Uninfected by having the virus.
"Why can't you do _____ like the other clients?" Well,for one thing I didn't catch it a yr or two ago LIKE THEY DID!!!!!!! As you can tell, it Pisses me off.
The only other Old Timer here is a Transexual so folks assume her problems are due to The Change, not the damage the virus....even though we have very similar symptoms. Since they've decided her problems are due to her "sin against God", I must just be lazy.
I just love living in the Sticks sometimes....
