Shazbaat!

Boy, am I glad I had to wear that pressure dressing for 3 days. If I hadn't and had known what was under it, I don't think I would have slept as well.
I should have had an idea. after all, the biopsies only took a couple minutes and the surgery was a total of a couple hrs(with a 1/2 hr rest while they took the 1st bits to Pathology to see if they'd got it all...and didn't).
There is a 2" horizontal suture line where the spot used to be. On the positive side(other than they said they got it all;>), I always thought my nose was a bit bigger than I'd prefer and it's now at least an 1/8th of an inch shorter....

Cultural Differences...

Many cultures have Gender roles and let's face it, the males don't appreciate it if they are "forced" into those they consider "women's roles".
Today, I got a facefull. Partly because of the shnauze, I'm less Tolerant today. I went to my fav local Asian market and the women weren't in, the men were. Which means, unless you're willing to outwait them, they won't "man" the register because customer service is "women's work". Pretty standard for continental ASian cultures. Today, after 15 minutes of having them look at me and go back to make-work or reading papers I just left my groceries on the counter. I hate doing that because they'll remain until the women get back. From now on I'll just leave if there're no women "manning" the registers in non-Japanese or Phillipino groceries....
